Really cool site, with an amazing fireplace made by someone. Big rocks, and clearing on the other other side of the ditch. There were deers and their 4 legged cousins.
It may have been a marked campsite at some point. No markings anymore, just the empty sign post .
There is a small ditch at the entrance to the site making it difficult for vehicles with low clearance

Nice site close to Rushmore. It was easy to level our truck camper. There's a neighboring sight on the other side of the rocks. There's also some sites further down this gravel road but you may need high clearance and 4wd. Further down was a little steep and rutted.
Report Check-InNice site with awesome views! The fire pit isn't there anymore and there is a sign on the post that says "no campfires" now.
Report Check-InFantastic views! nice and private. Stayed here two nights. Some good hiking nearby or just hike/bike the roadway you are on. This is my 2nd time here and will be back.
Report Check-InI fully agree with the previous description. Amazing spot and yes the entrance would feel a bit scrappy with a low clearance véhicule. No problem with ours though (Ford Transit).
