We like the place a lot. Great place to "get off the grid" while only 2km from the main road. Unfortunately, we both have Zoom calls today, so we'll be unable to work remotely from here.
Report Check-InGreat little hideaway from the main road. Bit bumpy but 2WD. Parking is obvious - stay on the gravel (everything that’s grass is leased - we were told by OPP). Nice and quiet
Report Check-Inbeautiful spot, met a few other van travelers from Quebec. spent the night with no problems.
Report Check-Inwent to the first parking lot and it was ok and a great spot to stay but decided to go up to the second lot later that night die to they sprayed manure on the field where the first parking lot was and the flies where really really bad.
the second lot said no camping but it was super late at night and no one was around. great spot to stay!!
This area is not open for camping, was visited by an MNR officer that kicked us out of the area or was going to charge us a $300 fine. The no camping sign in the parking lot means no camping anywhere on the property. Just a heads up they are monitoring the property.
Report Check-InThis area is a no camping area, we had a visit from an MNR officer that kicked us out or was going to issue ya a $300 fine. They are monitoring this property. The no camping sign at the parking lots means no camping on the entire property.
Report Check-InSuper place, il y avait 4 véhicules pour la nuit, juste un agent est venu le matin nous indiquer qu’il était interdit de dormir ici. Nous avons juste eu un avertissement.
Report Check-InNice quiet spot to park. Highly recommended if you're going to be in the area. Dead end road leading to boat launch. First lot is where we parked which is about 1/4 mile away from boat launch.
Report Check-InRoad leading up to this spot (Isaac Lake Road, see photos) is one lane and has some low-hanging branches. Not recommended for a large RV.
Spot is great, very quiet and private. We parked at the first small parking lot where there are no signs. If you drive to the end of the road there’s a boat launch, dock and a portapotty as well as a fairly large parking lot but on the sign it mentions no camping and no motorized vehicles(?). Included photos for both sites. No one bothered us at the small lot and it was empty when we arrived at midnight until around 7am when a couple fishers drove through.
