1000kw for a COVID test with travel certificate done 7 days a week from 8h to 12h30. Just pay at 1st building on the roght and get the test done in another yellow building. Results to be picked the next day at the district health office.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Based on our experience, we do not recommend this place to do the pcr test:
- very long process in 3 steps (see other reviews on that),
- takes 3 hours just to get the result and certificate because 50 other people waiting and no organization at all.
- they had lost my result. Had to wait one more hour.
- my husband was tested positive which was difficult to believe as he had already been 6 weeks before and I was negative. We did another pcr test at Mediprof Ltd (1600 kwatcha) which was negative and certificate received same day 4 hours later. Everything is done at the same place (payment, by card is possible, test and issue of travel certificate). Worth the extra cost as it is reliable and quick.
we did our test here but the localisation and process have changed.
1. payment at the building just right after hospital entrance
2. swabbing on the far other side of the hospital, place marked Batoka hospital on google.map. a yellow building but the entrance in on the side facing the southern wall.
As described but note that they only test from 08:00 to 12:30 each day.
Report Check-InVery easy process. From start to finish took us less than 20 minutes.
1. Have temperature screening at yellow building to left before entering hospital grounds.
2. Pay at administration desk. 1000kw per person. (Must pay in cash but there is an ATM not far down the road if you need.)
3. Return to building where temperature was done and have nose swabbed in small room to left.
Results in 24 hours.
Pick up results at Health Department Regional Office -- see other entry for this location.
Report Check-In1000kw for a COVID test with travel certificate done 7 days a week, takes a bit if time but avoids the ‘doctors’ who just want to make a quick buck out of a crisis. Just register at main building and pay and get the test done in front of the hospital grounds and wait 24 hours
