Totally agree on the extremely inefficient way of working. We came at 9 when the people waiting told us they first had to print the results which would take an hour. Came back an hour later. The line was gone and the receipts were taken immediately. As far as I could observe our results were found quickly as well. And after that??? No clue but it took another hour to finally get everything.
The place where you can collect your results is a small white container next to the main building.

the test results arrived only at 9.00 from the hospital, then the guy had to handwrite all the forms. we gave him our receipt, he put our test on the pile and we came back at 11.00 to collect it stamped. At 11.00 some new people were still queuing.

We did our test here too, you have to deposit money into their account at a Zanaco deposit kiosk (see attached pic for details) they will give you a slip to take back to the office once you paid and then you can do your test. (There are a few deposit spots walking distance from the centre, just ask around, and they are all clued up on how it works.)

We did it on a friday morning.
They send the specimens off to Livingstone General at 14:00 and you go back at 09:00 the next day to pick up your print out. Arrive before 9 so you don’t have to wait long for the written slip. We arrived 08:45 and were done at 09:10 on a Saturday.

Picking up results is way more complicated than it needs to be.
Results are printed out but then for some reason you must wait for a hand written copy. I'm 99.9% certain that the printed certificate would be sufficient for crossing a border and almost left without the handwritten copy but since I had a few errands to run, I opted to leave and come back. Returned 55 minutes later and my hand written copy still wasn't finished, but it was next in line so I got it then.
Might be best to pick up in the afternoon when all of this already finished.

Attaching photo of both papers so you can see what I mean.

UPDATE: I asked at the border into Namibia which of the papers they need and it turns out that they ONLY need the printed one. The hand written copy is a waste of time. If you can get the printed one and leave you are good to go.
