this place might only be open seasonally, but you wouldn't know it by the signs or website. showed up around 7pm early March and the gate was locked.
Report Check-InVery lovely. Warm breeZe which is welcome in this high heat wave . Cooled off carefully in the river away from stronger current area . Birdsong galore.
Report Check-InThis place is definitely worth driving a bit out of the way to stay at. Off a dirt road in between farms. I was originally thinking this post was done by the locals to lure unsuspecting travelers to. But it’s legit and so quite and clean & peaceful. There’s a little sign when you pull up with a number to call to check in.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot, very quiet and access to the river - make sure to register by calling the number on the signage at the entrance.
Report Check-InGreat quiet little Park surrounded by farms. Right on the River, a few fire rings and one massive one for bonfires it seems, decent verizon 3bars. 7 day stay limit for campers, just need to call the number on the sign when you get there and give your info or leave a message. Locals use this area to launch kayaks and go fishing but no one bothered me and no one came through either night I was there.
Report Check-InGreat little park wrapped around the river . Locals are really nice and welcoming. Big rig friendly. Full Verizon service. Clean . 14 days boondocking allowed
Report Check-InIt's a beautiful place! there is room for a few campers. and there is 2 fire pits.
I was here on a friday and some of the kids from around town were having a fire at one of the pits and were pretty loud for a few hours. But quieted down eventually.
