Lovely remote beach spot with a variety of camping options, from bush camp in a dune forest, to beach view or right by the lodge. R100-R150 pppn depending on season. Christmas is busy so better to phone beforehand. We came for two nights and stayed eight. Really beautiful beach, there’s a small restaurant and shop. WiFi at the lodge and hot water for showers with spotless ablutions. We tried all the camp spots and as it was quiet w were able to spend a few nights within the property but right on the beach. Super friendly. You can book a day of 4x4 driving if you want to test your sand skills in an area that doesn’t destroy the dunes or beach. Highly recommended. Call Lynne for bookings +258 84 519 7995

Amazing views, beach and owners. Loved this place. Off season it's very quiet yet again clean and well maintained. Great beach for walks, great swimming pool. All you need for camping too. Reasonable and good priced food. Ended up staying for 4 nights but could have stayed forever. Also have hotel rooms, chalets and 4 bedroom villa. With a RTT and no wind it is also OK to camp on the beach.
Report Check-InWhat a great place and gem to find. Owners are south african, lovely people. Camp site near restaurant or in the bush. Camp site has own private toilet and shower plus kitchen area. With a rooftop tent you can also camp on the beach if it's not too windy by permission. Also have rooms and chalets. Food is good and reasonable, fresh fish 500mets. Camping 700mets P. P low season. Amazing beach to walk on amd lovely swimming pool. Voda only works on left hand side of deck. Solar power so electricity limited. Very clean and well kept. Getting here turn off the highway after Tain han petrol station. Drive through sugar cane fields factory. At the last junction turn left (do not follow machubo sign, wrong direction) Restaurant there you can ask. Turn left, drive on and at an opening with 2 tractor tyres on yr right, turn off right. Approx 4km. Last km when you get to sign put tyres down to 1 bar to get up the sandy hill. Then you reach paradise.
Report Check-InNice place, a bit windy and it's not possible to stay on the beach with a car with rooftent. Be aware about the price of the wifi. We paid a lot of money using it for downloading videos for the evening.
Report Check-InNice place as descriped on other reviews. To get there,
1 1/2 Hours Drive on a bad dirt track through Sugar can fields and sand Piste for the last few km 4x4 recommended. They say lower tyre pressure to 1 bar. Your Camper should not be higher than 3m, because of low trees. We paid 200 R per Per/Night if you pay by credit card + 10 %. No cell phone signal. Internet 200 R per device. They are really helpfull with the confirmation letter for the visa. If you cross Komatiport Border better make a over night stop before.
Beautiful, beachfront Lodge, chalets and camping. perfect facilities, private ablutions, braai with charcoal supplied. really friendly and helpful hosts and staff and a lovely bar, braai and pool area where you can cook yourself or order food and drinks. lots of activities offered including sea fishing and 4x4 beach driving. Absolutely recommend this resort.
Report Check-InGreat spot and friendly ppl. We arrived on a long weekend with no booking & they were packed, but found us a spot in a bush camp.
Nice pool & bar area. Was surprised to learn they were getting too busy and took down all their signage, so it was a bit tricky to find. You'll need 4x4 for the last bit & for sure to get through the sugar cane field if it rains.
wifi at the bar for a fee. cards excepted. paid 100R/person with no electricity.
Nice place in the dunes. There are a few camp sites in the same close to the beach. other campsites with grass are further from the beach. They were not in use when we were there. I think there are also the lodges.
We were the only visitors at the camping site. So we stayed at the sandy camp spots close to the beach.
To reach the site you have to cross the sugar cane plantage. It just rained so the road was one long but mud road. Don't do this without 4x4. It was exciting to drive. our car was completely covered by mid. The owner let his staff clean or car.
We are not sure if there is free wifi.
