It is a basic camping place where you can stand in the shade under the thatched roof. The owner and his family are super nice. We were there for two days. We liked the place, which was right by the sea, very quiet and authentic. Enjoy the sunset in the evening with a beer on the terrace - brilliant.

Report Check-In

The place is very beautiful, but the services offered are very basic. There is only gold water; the washrooms are a little sketchy. The family that owns the restaurant has some dogs and cats. Those were the sickest and most malnourished animals I've seen in Mexico.

As described before, very welcoming and kind family, I had nice talks with Oscar, the owner. We paid 250 mxn/night with showers, restroom and we could even use power. NOTE: Power suply in the area is quite poor. If you plug your camper in, don't use A/C, it might cause a power outage in the whole neighbourhood.

Very friendly and caring family.
While driving here we had a flat tire, they came and helped us to fix the spare tire… amazing!! Close to the beach… nice delicious food!

What a lovely and caring family. We had a flat tire on our way here, just 1 km away. Oscar came and helped us to fix the tire! Next to the beach and nice delicious food!!

Great place to stay! Right on the beach and they have wifi now. 250 pesos for the night

A very nice place with some shade. Clean flush toilet, clean shower and a great sandy beach. No other guest, we were the only ones. The restaurant was closed, bring all you need. It’s a good place for one or two nights.

Everything as described, wonderful place by the beach. Beach is swimmable although there are some waves. The walk to the sand dunes is sick. It is now 250 pesos a night, no discount if dining (~190 for an excellent seafood dish, 30 for an ice cold beer). On the plus side there is now Starlink internet at 100Mbps so easy to work remotely if you need to.

Place okay for one night. No shade, waves pretty strong. Nice beach for a walk. Dort road is okay.

Report Check-In

Correct seat. Toilet without cover and concrete shower without decoration. Well located by the sea. 3 km of bad road to get there. They asked us 250 pesos for one night.

ATTENTION !!!
be carefull for yours dogs.

Nothing new to add, but wanted to add a post because Oscar and his family are so friendly and welcoming so I want to encourage more people to visit. We were there on 3 Kings Day, and Oscars family were celebrating with traditional cake which they shared with us. The beach is beautiful, as is the food (especially the garlic shrimp) and sunset. Highly recommend.

Very nice and calm spot, right in front of a beautiful beach! The restaurant and camping is owned by Oscar and his family who live very close. They are amazing and very welcoming people! There are 2 covered parking lots for cars or small vans, a big palapa with shadow and tables that you can use for cooking your own food, basic clean toilets and shower. They have also some new rooms to rent and want to keep on improving the place :) Now they charge 200 pesos per camper/tent.. if you eat in the restaurant maybe you can get a best price

Great place - Oscar and his family are super nice and friendly. Very chill and pretty beach. Prices as previously stated, bathrooms are ready and clean including shower and flush toilets with toilet paper. Great seafood as well - the chipotle shrimp is sooo good! Definitely recommend stopping in here.

Had a great experience here; stopped for a night between Puerto Escondido and Tapachula. Didn’t use the bathroom/shower facilities (seem to be still under construction) but did eat at the restaurant (excellent shrimp dish). Oscar (not Omar) and his mother were extremely friendly and accommodating. Dirt road from Rt 200 no trouble for 2WD; parking in small gravel lot behind the beachfront restaurant, fine for our campervan but it’s not a big-rig friendly spot (also low branches along dirt roadway FYI). Paid $100 mex on top of dinner bill ($200 if not dining). Felt safe, secluded area, family lives nearby. Oscar stopped by to check on us in the morning, offered us coffee or bread, again, they are very sweet people. Beach is beautiful (minus the typical litter), also great sunset over the mountains. A low key, hidden gem. More travelers stopping in would help them! Definitely recommend.

Visited a few days ago. Awesome restaurant and place to camp! We are on foot (no car) and they let us camp for free as long as we are at the restaurant. Shrimp was excellent! Owners were very nice an accommodating. She even opened up early to make us coffee at 7am! :)

a clean place and very close to the sea the cost per night is 100 pesos to be able to park your van with this incredible view of the sea. Omar and his Mom are excellent people. There is electric light, bathrooms, water, and they have a la carte restaurant service, seafood and seafood in general, very rich, its seasoning, a super recommended place where you will find very close to the Cerro del Chivo where there are spectacular dunes and it takes you to the other side from the beach which is very worth going as you can see huge volcanic rock rocks in the sea. the perfect place to disconnect from the world.
