Description

Large unpaved cliffside pullout without beach access located across 101 from Carmel Rd between Moolack and Beverly Beaches. Signs say no overnight between 1-5AM. A variety of rigs here anyway, some seem permanent and others temporary. The roar of the sea washes out the sounds of traffic.
The most fantastic view with the most fantastic sunset. Sprint and Verizon signal (LTE). Quite busy but if you arrive before 5pm you’ll get a good spot.

Many van lifers here state they had been there for days with no warnings from the local police despite there being a “no camping” sign.
The road noise really didn’t die down until 1:30 am and it go loud again around 9.

But, the views are breathtaking and worth the noise to watch the sun go down from here.

A pullout with plenty of space. While the highway is nicely paved the pullout is rough driving. Beautiful views. Plenty of other cars and campers here. I probably missed the no camping sign others mentioned. Strong 4G connection with T-Mobile.

Report Check-In

We found the same „no camping or overnight“ sign as in the parking lot nearby. But we saw some RVs parked there anyway.

Great spot to pullover for the night
Can life community has taken over this spot, no overnight signs visible but the lot was FULL of vans trailers and cars stopped for the night. Pullout separated from the main road by row of trees and shrubs, plus a sweet walk down to the beach in the morning. Made dinner and breakfast there no issues

Report Check-In

Great spot, plenty of space for parking, some more private between hills/shrubs. Road is rough, but fine if you drive slow. There's a sign that says no overnight parking, but at least a dozen RVs, vans, and cars stayed the night with no issues. I got good service, and even better views of the beach. My dog got to run around too.

Report Check-In

Parking on the bluff close to the main road. Other vans around. Wind and ocean drown out traffic noise. No problems over night. Killer view and beach access. Trash around, unfortunately.
