Description

Van/RV/Car only. No tent sites.
Town Park with no overnight parking restrictions.
Small parking lot will fit Van/RV under 24’ long.
Located at end of short road used by Fire Station, this small park is a perfect overnight camping spot. I pulled in after dark and left after breakfast.
This is a nice small park so I don’t think it’s suitable for multiple nights, but the park is listed as open 24/7.

Though the firehouse is active all night, you’re tucked back behind trees so it’s a perfect place to get a quiet nights sleep.

Very beautiful park, well laid out with picnic tables, barbecue, games for children, water games, water trough and toilet. Nice place to come during the day or spend the night. Far from the city, but safe because very close to the fire station.

Very nice small park behind the fire station . I felt very safe and was nice to have a bathroom. I was car camping and was not disturbed.

Playground with covered picnic tables, grills and rest rooms. Bike trail. Good idea to arrive when there aren’t kids playing.

Pretty setting, dark, quiet except for occasional train. Nobody at the Fire Station complained about car overnight.

Awesome barbecue a mile down the road.

Water fountain wasn’t working.

spent one Wednesday night. arrived after dark and left at 8am. bug spraying truck circled the parking lot overnight. bathrooms were open at 730am, water fountain was turned off but sinks in bathroom were on. mostly quiet, train off in the distance, some light road noise. great spot.

Came in after dark. Nobody was here. Nice spot right off HWY 90 behind the fire station. Nice clean restrooms.

this place was quiet tho there is a little highway noise. it was beautiful to wake up and take a quick stroll thru the woods on a paved path. also there is a play ground and flushing toilet. bathroom was fairly clean. I was the only one here. would definitely recommend.

Relatively quiet, safe spot near a fire station. Police are there and did see us park as well as the schoolie next to us. Verizon 4 bars. Clean bathrooms with running water. Picnic tables, grills, trash receptacles, and a playground. Two short walking trails. The one wrapping around the water feature? was really pretty first thing in the morning. There was light traffic noise and a train nearby. There was a sign for No Pets as well as No Profanity, alcohol, firearms, or loitering.
