On the banks of Rio Beni, a flat dirt lot. A cool breeze blows off the water at nightfall & in the morning, which is a lifesaver in the middle of the Amazon! Some nearby streetlights, but you can park a bit away. Access to town with plenty of restaurants, a promenade to walk on, a kids park 100 meters away. Nice views of life on the river. Clean municipal public toilet 1bol, opposite direction from park.

Report Check-InNot a great spot. I’m not even sure it’s a spot anymore. I’m thinking this was posted before the sidewalk was built because now you have to drive over a sidewalk to get to this lot. Check out my other river spot. Much better.
Report Check-InArrived at 2am and rolled in here. Lovely breeze from the Rio Beni, and so nice to wake up next to the water. Quiet night and felt safe.
Report Check-InSpent our first night in Rurre here, as we arrived at 3AM and didn't feel like paying for 4 hours of sleeping.
Not a bad place, surprisingly quiet at night - but be a bit careful and don't leave stuff outside/on your car. Woke up at 7am to see bunch of children opening our rooftop tent cover (they probably thought there's something inside), after I made some noise (we were sleeping in the car) they walked away.
