Description
Pisgah National Forest designated campsite Curtis Creek Road. A dedicated campsite on Curtis Creek Road not too far from the Blue Ridge Parkway. This is NOT the pay-to-play campsite further down Curtis Creek Road. It has a mostly level pull off for car campers, would fit a long van but not much larger. There is a 30ft trail to the tent site with a fire ring. Shrubs are trimmed to allow for a view of the mountain. The trail continues on past the main campsite and has areas for two more tents eventually leading close to a creek. The trail goes further, but wasn't as well traveled.

Report Check-InNice little spot. We had no trouble parking our 24' sprinter. The gravel road coming here was not bad at all. We went a bit farther down the road and turned back because it was getting late. There's a nice fire ring a few steps from the parking spot and a good sized spot for a tent. We really leveled out van without using blocks, just parking it just right. Verizon signal seems decent enough although it just shows as one bar.
