Parking lot of the BigRock Ski Resort. It is used in the summer by hikers who stay overnight on Mars Hill to see the first sun beams. There are always some cars overnight. The US Border Patrol may come by but won't bother anyone. I talked with them and they confirmed that they don't care and the local sheriff does not either.

Construction work on the ski lifts means heavy machinery and operators here from 6-6 but no one said anything.
Very large gravel parking lot with a view of the mountain. Quiet place since we were the only ones here overnight. Great view of the night sky. Some hikers arrived in the morning.
Report Check-InStayed one night. Quiet, only one other vehicle here. No T-Mobile service, AT&T is lte only, did not hook up starlink but sure it would work since there isn’t any tree cover.
