Large-ish clearing with people’s left-over trash. Once cleaned up it’d be a nice flat place, though not shaded. Just off a dusty gravel road. Large enough for 2 vans. 2WD will make it. I didn’t camp here, just saw it while biking or I would have cleaned it up.

The approach is a LONG winding narrow, pot hole-filled paved road. We drove in on a Tuesday evening and didn’t pass any cars on the way up (there would be nowhere to pull over). There are only a few low-hanging branches that hit my high roof Promaster.
The site: very dusty and right of a gravel road so each time a car passed our site became full of dust. Sadly there are shotgun shells, broken glass, and other pieces of garbage everywhere (I cleaned up a bunch of it). This was ok to stay at in a pinch and it is fairly level but it’s not an enjoyable place to hang out at camp.
Please practice leave no trace and leave our public lands better than when you got there.
