Loved this spot. Yes it is windy but the views and seclusion are great. Seen a toucan, some monkeys, some capybara and lots of cows! There's fish in the little pond next to the sites. Bathrooms were nice with hot showers. Cute walking trails that lead to a waterfall with no water in it 😂 but still cool. 5000pnpp
Report Check-Invery very VERY windy. we didn't sleep all night from the wind blowing at the tent. the people beside us left the moment the sun rose because it was so bad. They claimed theres wifi but everytime we asked there was a reason it wasn't working.
$10usd per person. the view is incredible, the bathrooms were nice but don't expect sleep if it's windy.
Report Check-InBeautiful mountain air & views (and facilities). Highly recommend the climbing & night walk tour (https://www.familiabrenestours.com). Watching the sunset from the top of the 132-foot ficus tree (having climbed it!) and then finding tarantulas, scorpions, a viper, etc, on our walk were highlights of our trip to Costa Rica.

Really nice place - great view, campfires with dry wood supplied, the nicest amenities we’ve seen, and great tours from the property- I highly recommend the night tour which includes climbing 40m up the inside of a strangler fig!

Super nice facilities dedicated to the camping (toilet, shower and fire pits).
The host are very nice and welcoming.
The campsite is secluded from the main reception and has a great view plus some hiking trails nearby.
If you are visiting monteverde it’s a great spot to stay.

Report Check-Inbest view you will find with a tent of small-sized-rig in monteverde. entering there is tricky, and for our 3.5 meter high rig we needed to slowly and carefully lift the electrical wires in the entrance, but it was worth it.
this place runs great tours. night tours, 40 meters ficus tree climbing, waterfall repelling etc. we wrote them an email asking to do the night tour and stay in their place and we ended up paying only for the tour and staying 2 night in the most amazing place they have!!! email them- it is worth it. also, dont miss the 30$ night tour that begins in climbing the ficus tree and seeing the sunset from there!!! 40$ if you want also dinner!!!
