It is a gravel pit. Very large and empty and on Crown land. It is a wide open space with gravel and there are no amenities but there is space to park any size of vehicle. It’s on the way into Killarney and it is pretty much somehwere to stop. If you drive to the back of the pit and park it is a good ways away from the road so quiet although the road is not very busy anyways. The area is pretty flat for sleeping. It does get very buggy at night.

Report Check-InGreat spot! We were the only ones and there were no bugs end of Aug. Wide open and very secluded.
We let our dogs run the area just around the site and they got covered in burrs so bring a brush ;)
