There’s a bunch of sites off of 242 , some before the horrible rocky road and some after. They have camping signs and site numbers. Past the horrible rocky part (which I made it last in my old van (not 4x4) on a dry day. There are some sites with stoves. I only passed one other car and none have passed my site. Saw a vinegaroon!

pretty gnarly road in, from either direction. much easier coming down (counterclockwise). lots of big rock features that are going to stop most vehicles. this is not for RVs or big trailers. all of the other pins near here were already full. with that said, if you make it here, there's a little campground here with like 10 spots. only a couple are large and flat.
Report Check-InHorrible horrible road. I’m in a 2019 Winnebago Travato with a lift kit and bigger tires and I made it up the hill a little and decided it wasn’t worth it. Drove down to the next road and stayed at trailhead. Horrible road only for 4x4 unless you want to get stuck. I wouldn’t even try it in a smaller campervan no thank you and I usually try anything. Nope for me.
