Easy street parking, spots were available when we arrived 8-9pm. Stayed two nights. If you walk to the public access at the locks, there are bathrooms. Verizon, AT&T, and T-mobile service worked well.

Low key industrial/residential area along the locks. Quiet, relatively low foot and car traffic on a Tuesday night. Arrived at 10pm, left at 6am. No issues. Very pleasant stay. Used the bathroom at discovery park in the morning
Report Check-InConvenient street parking near Ballard Locks. Pretty noisy with truck and train traffic. Other than that, a decent place to spend the night.
Report Check-InArrived around 10pm. No signs preventing parking (except in a few places, bus stop, loading zones, etc). Fish Ladder bathrooms were rather clean, free, & accessible--open 7am-9pm. Cool to see the salmon and sea lions in the morning too. No sketchy people around, no cops. Lots of loud traffic in the a.m., none at night. Easy to find spots. No room for big rigs but our camper van fit fine, although the spot was a bit narrow.
Report Check-InOn commodore avenue, we spent the night no issues in our Subaru that we are car camping in. No signs to say don’t park. On the street in front of a Porsche shop and condos. There was some traffic around 9pm, but then was really quiet all night long. Felt safe. Traffics started again around 7 with people going to work. Walk 5 min down the hill to the salmon ladder, there are clean public restrooms open from 7am- 9pm.
