Kwik trip | Informal Campsite

Large empty “overflow” truck parking lot tucked behind the Kwik Trip. There was one tractor trailer and four other non-commercial vehicles parked around the perimeter when we rolled in just before dark and another 2-3 folks quietly arrived in before morning. Most of the rear lot is tucked behind a screen of foliage so you are not visible from the road and it is quiet and dark. In no way scenic, but very functional!

my partner are i were looking for a place to car camp and with it being early march, we weren’t optimistic! this place was literally perfect for one or two nights, only we stayed one night, and nobody bothered us. we pulled into the overflow lot, there is a sign that says “extra truck parking” in the back of the lot behind the mini building/shed. not busy, no lighting, and very hidden by tree’s. we recommend crashing here!!

Stayed here 2nights and it was perfect. Very quiet, dark and no one but bothered us. Very large lot and was surprised not more people stay here

Large truck overflow lot behind the main area. Three other camping rigs when we arrived. Can hear the trains in the distance but overall quite. Great spot for the night.

Huge gravel lot in the back of Kwik Trip marked additional truck parking. Was at least 4 car campers parked there when I woke up. Not a bad place to stay the night for free. Great verizon 4G signal

Occasional low rumble of a train, huge gravel lot just 4 vehicles on the 3 football fields sized space.. lights from adjoining parking areas were enough to see a little after your eyes adjusted to the dark but not too bright to sleep without window covers..

As others said - quite, big lot in the back. I actually had a chat with the manager of the Kwik stop, very open to people staying in the back over night. A police patrol came by about 10pm, checking that everything is quite and safe and wished me a good night 👍

big parking area .. no lights, but the factory out back was releasing steam everything couple of seconds till 2am. but once I got to sleep it didn't bother me.

We stayed in the over flow parking area super quite. There’s parking by the store but loud.

Truck stop with extra parking in the back. Very quite.
