Beautiful spot. A short walk to the state park. Quiet! Cars would pull in and look at the beach or watch sunset but all that stopped after 10pm.

spent the evening swimming at Tawas & then slept with the back popped here for one night & listened to the water all night, great spot especially as a solo camper. Surprisingly not a single mosquito bite!

When we were there someone had put mulch or chipping all along trying to almost block people from getting in the water
A father and daughter were out kayaking and came in as we set our grill up. Also many others drove down and circled around the dead end looking at the gorgeous view. In the morning 2 men came with metal detectors and were out in the water. We enjoyed this much better than the state campground… but we aren’t camp ground kind of people!
Pulled in about 5 to chill and eat dinner. Not too long after a cop came along to check on us. He did inform us we could stay for awhile but we couldn’t overnight. We ate dinner and hung out until the bugs got bad. Pretty spot.
Report Check-InIt is a nice spot on the water, perhaps an informal boat launch. Not exactly private though. Had a couple cars come through late at night and several already before noon
Report Check-InLegit spot. Basically a pull off somewhat hidden from the toad . Good for one night. Private home on the side, be respectfully, quiet and leave no trace . Great place to take dog swimming, if you don’t want to head into the tawau point state park dog beach
Report Check-InAbsolutely hidden gem of a place. Very quiet. Right next to your own private little beach. We stayed here for a night; besides a few other people coming to just check out the view, nobody bothered us. Great place to park your van, as well as cook.
