Something not right?

Description

Lake Fairfax park and campground was great! There are athletic fields, hiking trails, a lake to go fishing and even a water park. We opted to stay in their campground last minute and we’re glad we did! The sites are far enough apart so you don’t feel right on top of everyone. It was quiet, had plenty of shade, and fire pits at each site. There’s also a shower house with nonpotable and potable water. Sites go for $30-50 depending on what you need. Only downfall (or not depending on preference) was there wasn’t any cell service.

Latest Check-Ins

Great county park at $55 per night for electric only. While that may seem pricey, best value in the DC area with hook ups. Phone signal excellent. Manassas regional park comparable but further out and 6-8 miles from services (groceries, restaurants, etc.)

You can not beat this park for its location. Tent (van) sites are best on the outer loop from #35 thru 29. If you got an RV electric sites are available but there is only water at the dump station to refill your tanks. Great spot to visit DC by driving to Reston and taking the subway in to the city. The downside is cell service is marginal.

Pretty busy campground. Very loud on weekends, lots of traffic and beeping late into the night. Sites towards the front seem to be slightly more level, some are really not at all. No water hook ups at site, only at dump station. Very pretty lake with lots of trails. Showers are decent size with hot water, sinks available as well. We paid $37 for one night. Would stay again if needed, not my first choice.

As described below, but we had cell service no problem! Nice trails throughout, very quiet, well spaced, dog friendly and hosts leave you alone (even said no prob with our 90 min late check out!) We paid $45
