Description

A nice provincial park campground surrounded by kilometres of white sandy beaches which are probably the best in Newfoundland.

Most sites are not serviced. You are less than 10 minutes away from the Burgeo ferry dock where you can take your camper to the island of Ramea, or by foot, to Grey River.

The highway to Ramea has some bad sections, so it is a long drive from the TransCanada highway. Drive carefully and slower than the posted speed limits -- there are no gas stations, nor cell service. Only regular gas and diesel is available in Burgeo.

Report Check-In

Provincial park, smaller sites, older washrooms. Boil water in effect. Road to the town, 480, needs work and is rather rough. Great views and lovely beach.
