Back again! Such a nice and quiet little camp ground, we decided to stay again. Yes, no cell or services but has clean pit toilets. A really nice place to relax for a day or two.
Report Check-Inclarifications to this great little campground with 12 widely dispersed sites & 3 pit toilet bathrooms. place seems recently spiffed up. very nice level for most part parking pads. shortest one easily accommodates our 22 ft van. road up gravel with some minor ruts but no high clearance needed. forest service fees active at $5, $2.50 with senior parks pass. nice clean picnic tables, grills (with little grill table) & steel fire pits. sites just strung out along the road. one pull thru site (#9?). circle at top of road (by sites 10, 11, 12), currently has spring steam moving over road, but even passenger cat could go over it or you don't need to. really pretty place with shade at some sites, not so much at others. one other camper here on a Friday night so far. the one dispersed site on the way here was taken. there might be one other pull off we could have parked the van likely, but glad we made our way to campground.
Report Check-InGreat little campground, No service, Clean toilets, A little hard to find. Next to a beautiful creek.
Report Check-InVery nice campground. Just spent a night at site 2 next to the creek. stayed here in Ram Promaster conversion, easy access. Price is $5 a night or $2.50 with senior/access pass by honor system. No Verizon cell service, luckily my Satlink picked up between the trees.
Report Check-InAs described. We counted about 8 established sites (with tables/pits/bbq) and 2 pit toilets before we settled on a spot. Had the whole place to ourselves! And FREE!
Report Check-InFee box is no longer... active? It's partially dismantled. The road to the sites is very narrow and has some minor ruts, but it's passable. There's still some snow here and there. Lots of bugs and butterflies.
Report Check-InLovely camp amongst the aspens trees. 8 sites, creek, 2 vault toilets, tables, fire ring. $4 or half price with Interagency senior pass.
