Description

Arrived after 8PM and the entire Village was quiet and dark. Didn’t want to get to the camping late, as they could be sleeping. Followed the main road to the river and turned left, towards that old place marked as closed. Even though I agree we should use the established camping to support them, wild camping seems to continue to be an option. Spent one quiet and safe night. Lots of Howler Monkeys. Saw red Macaws from the comfort of my sofa, having coffee. A local stopped his canoe about 30m from where I was and did not come say anything. I guess, if you keep a low profile and don’t stay long, it should be fine.

Latest Check-Ins

We stop here for the launch, it's a nice place. I will certainly stop here for the night if it was later. The village is wonderful, there are lot of flowers and animals. We saw 6 howling monkeys, 2 spider monkeys and 10 macaws (Guacamaya Roja). There are also lot of fruits tree (mango, mapey).

We spent the day here parked by the river, enjoying the peace and nature. Great spot to string up a hammock and wait for the animals to entertain you! No one drove or walked by all day. Might be a bit rude to camp overnight here in such a small town, unless you arrive late.
