We have a visit from the lokal police which told us friendly that overnight parking is not aloud here.

Nous sommes arrivés a 15h30 et nous avons eu aucun problème avec notre installation ( pick-up et roulotte de 40 pieds total) bel endroit..

Great place to sleep, good view on the lake! Just have to know that a lot of boat come the morning (little noise)
Belle place pour dormir, on se leve quand les gens arrivent avec leur boat mais on ne se fait pas déranger pour partir, pas de trouble.

Nice large gravel parking. room for biggest of rigs. no-one annoyed us for staying here. we could even pitch a tent.
Morning here is beautiful

We spoke with a local who recommended us not overnight there. He said neighbors are tired of the use of the peace and don’t like strangers there, so we moved.

Nice location by the water, parking lot was not maintained but it was empty and had lots of room. We parked right beside the boat launch by the trees. Quiet night, didn’t have any visitors. No “no parking” signs.

If you stay here check out the shops in town, crystal beach has an amazing sense of community between the locals as the town has so much history to it. Try to find something loganberry flavoured!!

Very nice place out of the crowd, really quiet at night after fishing was finished. Really quiet until fishing start again. nice place really good night of sleep.

Nice spot but the parking lot is rough, likely from winter storms. Hard to find a level spot that’s not in soft sand. I did check out the other spot in Crystal Beach but didn’t like the feeling I got. Glad I decided to come back here. Hoping to see the sunrise if it’s not too clouded over.

Very nice spot, peaceful with a good lake view. Chatted with a local who said it was fine to stay overnight. Checked out the Port Colborne waterfront area first, but didn't get a good feel there, so moved on to this spot - very glad I did!

There were some comings and goings in the night - seems like it's a popular spot to come for a smoke. And an early morning boat launch. But no hassles.

Be aware that there are some spots of deep sand in the parking area, so best to stay on the hard-packed part.

Report Check-In

Very nice cozy place by lake Erie. Amazing sunrise left of Buffalo.

Nicknamed poverty bay by locals because this is where locals anchor their boats for free. It's a gravel parking lot with gorgeous views over the water. No services. But the peace you get here, compared to the big boat launch in town is so worth it! We spoke to a few locals who said people camp here no problem.
FYI - the historical lighthouse in Abino is no longer accessible - privately owned...
