Description

Access southbound.

Various spots signed as 15 min, 1hr and 8 hr parking. Not a lot of 8hr spots. Previous reports of long-termers are now outdated and it's only people passing through that stay.

Flat and quiet enough to sleep, you can park adjacent to the woods. PS: there is a free dump here!

Latest Check-Ins

No longer any long termers. Not a ton of 8hr spots. We got here at 930p on a Sunday and snagged one of the last ones.

Report Check-In

good parking lot size. nice clean washrooms with running water. Good for 1 night. Busy with other car dwellers but felt safe and quiet, nobody came knocking.

Report Check-In

Stayed one night with most of the parking lot being filled with people doing the same. Time limits of spots weren't enforced this night. Relatively quite. RV water fill station is on.

Report Check-In

8 hour, 4 hour, 2 hour and 15 minute parking. Clean flush toilets and sinks. Free RV dumpstations with water, too

Report Check-In

felt safe can get busy at times but great place to spend a night of rest. they have bathrooms as well

Report Check-In

Loud but felt safe with no issues. Decent bathrooms and water fountains. Saw lots of people using the free dumping area.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for one night in an 8 hour spot with no issues, felt safe, lots of other people camping too.

Report Check-In

A lot has changed here. Very strict parking limits to prevent people from staying more than one day. On the north side as you come in it’s maximum one hour parking. On the south end there are about a dozen or so eight hour parking spots. Everything else is either 15 minutes, one hour and there are a few four hour spots. The walking trails have been fenced and closed off. Certainly feels safer than before and it is very quiet. You can’t hear the highway. Clean restrooms and RV dump. Great spot to stop overnight if you are lucky enough to get an eight hour spot.

Report Check-In

This rest area is pretty busy when I arrived on a Saturday night. There's parking spots marked in time from 15 minutes (in front of the bathrooms) to 8 hours (around the other side). There's a lot for semis, but the RV parking on the car side is blocked with big concrete slabs. There were some smaller RVs parked among the cars, and others with the semis, that didn't seem to have any issues staying the night. Bathrooms were relatively clean, felt safe. There's working water fountains and vending machines.

Report Check-In

Like many have said, there are parking time limits from 15 minutes to 8 hours, but there were also squatters. So, didn't seem to be enforced. There were quite a few vans, campers and SUV lifers. Some moved to different spaces to accommodate time limits. Everyone was respectful and didn't overstay their welcome. If you're a vanner, there is potable water at the dump station.

Report Check-In

Just stoped for a short break. Lots of seemingly permanent residents in RVs here. Police drove stopped by our van and told us they would move out as soon as possible. Doesn't seam to be the best area.

But free Dumping and Water.

Report Check-In

the RV parking area has quite the shanty town of semi-permanents. Otherwise nice. 2 to 3 bars of Verizon

Report Check-In

I don't expect this place to remain open long with the amount of garbage and seemingly permanent residents. That being said, it was convenient for 1 night.

Report Check-In

Busy but safe and quiet for the night. Toilets were clean

Report Check-In

like it's sister rest stop on TV northbound side, it is well kept. no murky trail to hike at this location. when to enter you enter in the high side with short term parking. go around to more side to long term. be aware on that side there are 3 or 4 homeless living there. they seem pretty harmless and keep to themselves. it is a nice place to rest though

Report Check-In

Free water ( threaded hose spigot ) just past the free dump area

Report Check-In

This is a very nice, quiet rest area that's close to (North of) Portland/Vancouver with a dedicated RV area that is eight or so long lanes where RVs park back-to-back. I'm not sure what, if any, etiquette exists to extricate oneself from the middle of a row. Some of the RVs appeared to be very long-term residents.

The regular (non-RV) spots all had limited stay times. Most of them had a 15-minute limit, some had a 1-hour limit while others had an 8-hour limit. From the look of things, people were likely staying longer than allowed in the shorter-term spots.

The restrooms were nice and clean.

Report Check-In

Nice rest area with toilets and running water. Stayed there one night, some long term van/caravan, some cars stayed for the night. It was quiet and good for one night.

Report Check-In

Ok for a night. 3 or 4 long termers but mostly people traveling through. Reasonably quiet.

Report Check-In

Long story short: great spot for a night but lock your gas caps. Multiple vehicles have had fuel siphoned from their tanks, one of which was left stranded when their car wouldn’t start. Probably par for the course for rest stops but seems to be rampant here. Otherwise a great spot with relatively clean facilities and tucked behind some nice trees. Large RV area also with free dump and fill.

Report Check-In

Good spot for a night. Quiet and safe. Bathroom are clean and gor fresh water drinking fountains.

Report Check-In

What a weird dang place. To be positive it is a good spot for the night given lack of options in the area. Tons of spaces but only about 1/3 of them are 8 hour spots. Most are 15 min or 1 hr or 4 hr. For some reason it’s OK for people to park around the outside of the back end of the lot where the curb is red and it’s painted as a fire lane. Probably 20 cars were parked parallel there with no issues which doesn’t make any sense but it’s not a bad spot. That being said, this also felt like a scene from the original Mad Max. The cast of characters around there were borderline frightening but mostly just beyond peculiar. Lots of long termers. Like, looong termers. Cops actually came and knocked on the door of the guy next to me who had clearly been parked so long that he had his camper up on blocks. Just odd overall but was perfectly safe and quiet so it worked for a night.

Report Check-In

As described, lots of big trees provide shade. Sign states 8 hr parking allowed.

Report Check-In

Stayed here overnight, stayed late into afternoon. No problems, 2 other rigs.

Report Check-In

Better then the other side rest stop, but not a spot when arriving late. Pulled in around 2am and everything was packed, including people around red zones. Do believe there was a dump and water, great thing to take advantage of. Did seem like many people living staying here long term.

Report Check-In

Access southbound, this is one of the largest quietest rest stops I have ever seen. Flat and quiet enough to sleep, you can park adjacent to the woods. PS: there is a free dump here!
