Beautiful swimming hole and beach for the locals. Definitely worth stopping here for a swim on a hot summer day.

It is quite clearly signposted however that its an active mine site and no overnight camping is allowed.

This is a private property and is meant for day use area only. Please remove it as a camping spot.

Beautiful spot.

Take note this is private property and the owners made this space for the residents of Dawson as a local swimming hole.

It can be closed at any time if you neglect it so please take care of this spot and pack out what you pack in.

Headed from Dawson it’s approximately 100metres before the bear creek sign on the left

You drive past a sign that says active mine and access restricted.

You’ll see the lake

Report Check-In

Looks like the riverside access from the parking next to Highway is now blocked by a roadblock. We tried Getting there by from another Road 1 km east, but there was sign Satin restricted access due to mining operations. You could still stay on the parking next to Highway though, but seems the riverside is inaccessible.

Great spot, toilets is falling apart. A few other campers were there, quiet nights sleep

Nice place….but a lady saying she was the owner of the land said it was for day use only!!
However she let us stay for one night.

Quiet spot close to town indeed. It's on the washed gravel which at some point came out of the back of one of the gold dredges, now landscaped into berms, pads, piles and a pond, all by the side of the fast flowing Klondike River. There's even an outhouse!

Report Check-In

Quite spot hidden next to a small lake . Lots of space . Close to a river for fishing.
