Villa ZenZontle GlampingSMA (Villa Mockingbird) is an off-grid, self-sustaining campground and retreat property. We currently offer 3 camping modalities:
A) GLAMPING TENTS equipped with a comfy bed and breakfast.
B) CAMPING SPOTS for those who prefer to bring their own camping gear.
C) RV PARKING spaces to accommodate a limited number of vehicles that need a place to spend a night or more. Though the property is currently not equipped with a dumping station for RV's/motor homes, it does have plenty of space to park comfortably and water is available, as well as access to the communal bathrooms and hot water shower, plus grounds with spectacular sunsets. Laundry may be available for a small fee. What makes this place ideal for campers and RVs is the proximity to Mayan Baths Thermal underground water pools for couples/adults, as well as the closeness to Xote Aquatic Park for families. Located approximately ten minutes from downtown San Miguel de Allende, the property boasts a bonfire area, fire pits, meditation labyrinth, walking and biking trails, and four terraces where to enjoy the frequent Happy Hours with the owners and visitors. We stood in front of a locked gate. There was a sign saying you had to reserve in advance. It all looked very deserted.
Report Check-InA little tight, watch the bushes, some will scratch your paint! Very peaceful and quiet. Owner does have dogs, but easy to coordinate dogs being out if you have a pet. No power, water or sewer, but views are excellent. Showers and bathrooms on-site, very clean.
Report Check-InEs un lugar extra en el corazon de la naturaleza pero 10 mn de san miguel hay una linea de autobus a 1 km cerca del parc aquatico. marta es muy sympatic y puedes ver la puesta del sol en la terraza. Creo que es un lugar perfecto para visitar san miguel de allende. Necessito de telefono al 415 113 7132 Uno de mi mejor campamento en mexico
Report Check-InGreat stay! We decided to try this place after reading mixed reviews of other area options and are so glad we did. The views, property and gardens are amazing. We enjoyed time on the outdoor patio and the bathrooms feel spa like. The most helpful and accommodating host and we were even able to do laundry. The pet situation worked out fine, we just communicated about when to let our dog out. Easy Uber into centro.
Report Check-InMarta is a wonderful woman who will make you feel at home. The views are breathtaking. Toilets and hot shower are very nice and clean. Pricy but worth it.
