Free parking lot to sleep in. There was another car parked here for the night - neither of us received knocks and we were told others have stayed here without issue as well. No facilities, no fires, just a good old fashioned parking lot off the side of the road. Quiet, great stars.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
it worked. right on the road, so road noise till late, and starting early. but noone bothered.
got me out of Rapid City, where informal campgrounds appear to be closed (e.g. Walmart, Cabela's...) due to reported abandonment of RVs.. g
Report Check-InStayed here for the night, arrived at around 9:30pm and there were no other cars.
It’s right by the side of the road. During the night there is not a lot of traffic but it does start quite early in the morning, and trucks going past is quite loud.
It also functions as a school bus stop (not sure if only while there’s road works going on), we heard footsteps in the morning and opened the window to see children going into the bus.
big parking lot on road 16 , no sign. Spend one night .No problème.
Report Check-InAs described. Stayed here because the campsites on nearby FS roads had gotten too muddy in the rain. can be loud when cars are driving by. arrived after dark and left early.
