About a mile off of 87 in the national forest, there's two big parking lots at the trailhead for Mile Creek. the first is before a small creek on the left side. the second is across the creek, and where there is information for the trail. Good for one night, beautiful views.

Was a very nice and quiet place. We enjoyed two nights here before moving to yellowstone park.
Report Check-Inwonderful spot for the night. very quiet and scenic. creek crossing in our 2wd van was simple. took a dip in the creek and enjoyed a perfect sunset. would definitely stay here again. porta potties are not here anymore.
