We were looking for a place close to home to sleepy overnight in our 19 ft camper (while our young adult daughters celebrate their birthday in our home). It was too late in the evening to book a campsite. We went for dinner at the excellent La Chèvre and then proceeded to the base of Ski Avalanche parking lot just a few 100 meters down the same road. Parking was quiet, we were the only one staying overnight. The ski chalet was lit, a couple cars in front of it but no activity it seems. And the back of the lot also lit around de mechanical building. Felt safe. There was even 3 picnic tables with labels 1 to 3. As if we were totally welcomed. We felt welcomed. Rainy night, so also quiet in the morning, as normally there would have been mountain bikers showing up. Great riding on this mountain.
Report Check-InA quiet place for a night. Had access to the washroom and water when the staff was present. Otherwise there was a hose and porta potty. A great little place to mountain bike for a new rider. The staff was friendly and patient with me poor French. Close to the beach for swimming.
Une bonne place tranquille pour rester le soir. Access au salle de bain er de l’eau quand les travailleur etes present. Autrement ill y a une porta potty er une robinet dehors. Une bonne place a apprendre a fair du velo montagne. Pres du plage pour nager. Excuse, j’ecris pas bon en francais mais j’essai!
