Something not right?

Description

Handful of forest road pulloffs once you get far enough. When you turn right onto Cramer Creek Road there’s a sign that says “private property next 2 miles” and around then you’ll hit forest service land. There’s one pulloff around .25 miles into the NF, two more at around .75 miles (these coordinates). I had one area pinned on google maps another mile up that looked like a larger pulloff, but this did well for the night. Nobody around and no traffic on a Sunday in July. Great Verizon and AT&T service! Town nearby, 20 mins off 93, and an hour from the West Gate of Glacier.

Latest Check-Ins

There is a blockade on this pull-off. If you are interested in tent camping you can go past it and fine a great spot with a fireplace.

It was great to spend our money at Tamarack Brewing instead of a commercial campground. As described - a beautiful view and a side of the road campsite. We stayed on the higher end and it was flat. Limited Verizon. One vehicle went past during our midweek stay. Picked up half a garbage of bag shell casings.

.25-.5 mi past National Forest boundary. Pullout- not a lot of room. I was able to turn around a 22’ van to face downhill on pullout with amazing view of lake. Unfortunately some prior campers don’t respect the land and left their trash behind which totally sucks. But was quiet with great views- just needs more cleaning up. Good cell service- 2 bars Verizon.

dirt road with several pull-offs. lovely views. arrived before dark and the spot was available. lots of shot gun shells on the road, unfortunately.

Report Check-In

Easy to find in the dark and awoke to a beautiful view of flathead lake.

stayed at the spot .75 miles mentioned in other post. had enough service with Verizon and Google fi to work and take zoom meetings. occasionally car would fly by but really great view

It’s a gravel road with some pull offs. The first one you come to worked for us. Great view of Flathead Lake. We have a 25’ unit and it fit fine. It did take an Austin Powers move to make that happen. It was 4th of July and a good number of cars went by. They were all respectful and slowed down past our camper. All in all it was exactly as described by the original poster. There are some sites further up the road as we saw some van life people go past and could see them on the hillside above us.
