Latest Check-Ins

It is now $27 a night and $29 in the weekends. 1/2 price if you have a senior pass or national beauty pass. It has a place to get water and a pit toilet. It is nestled in the trees next to the river.

Full price not worth it for me. Half price reasonable.

This is one of our favorite spots! Apart from a little bit of Road noise, it's really quiet especially in the middle of the week. The water is great, the breeze is cool and smells like deep pine.

We stopped to check it out but did not stay. Rio Grande National forest, $24 , $12 with a pass, a night, shady and right on a singing river. Only one trailer here, empty! Really nice, immaculate wooden built bathrooms with pit toilets. Really clean. No camp host but be honest and pay. Spacious sites, all with tables, bear lockers and fire rings but there is a burn ban so NO FIRES! The Forest is so dry with fallen spruce trees that it will be a tinderbox with a few sparks. FYI: many free sites in the BLM next to the cg along unused railroad next to river.
