The place is now in a working area and no more accessible. maybe until july 2025??

Report Check-In

Unfortunately they’re doing some road work so the spot is not reachable at the moment. Just a dead end and it’s fenced

Great spot, only 20 min drive from Edmonton. Frequently visitwd by locals, no one bothered us, beatiful trail right next to the river. We stayed for 3 nights in a row, while visiting Edmonton in daytime.

Report Check-In

Don’t go near the water. Tons of nails cause people burned pallets. Inspect before going further Park up right next to the trail. Slept verry well and had coffee with a fox.

Sehr schöner Platz am Wasser. Abends wird’s dann auch ruhiger, wenn alle weg sind. Bei Flying Travel kann man dann auch Wasser tanken. Ist nur 10 Minuten von hier entfernt.

Report Check-In

Sehr schöner Platz als Ausgangspunkt für Edmonton.

Report Check-In

Quiet spot but the lower lot is full of nails.

Awesome place to stay the night. At a dead end road, there's the river and the parking lot where we stayed. We could hear the coyotes at times. There's a trail right off the parking lot. Was just us there at night. The odd car came to see tbe river or go on a hike on the trail. Unfortunately, a cop died 4 days prior to us staying there so it was busy from people visiting where the accident sadly happend. No one bothers us . The RCMP saw us and never said anything also multiple cops to show their respect for their fellow officer.
But beautiful spot river infront and fields behind. Would stay again!

Spent two nights in the upper parking lot. Great place to dry camp. Busy on Sunday with many people coming for hiking and biking the trail. Very quiet during the night,

We are still a friday. The parking near the river is full of the Old nails and screws ne carefull. The Trail ahead is beside the sewer water treatment of the City. Depending the wind it’s not smell good 😝

I agree to the previous comment: arrived on a friday evening (canada day) at 7p.m. and several young people hang arround at the River. But totally fine! Later on, 2RV, 3 Cars and a tent „arrived“. Still a very good place for a night close to the City Center!

Nice spot near the river. Many people were fishing along the shore. We arrived on a Friday afternoon and set up near the river however by evening it was obvious it was a teen hangout so we moved to the upper parking area. The teen revelers were not noisy or bothersome. Very quiet place but for the siren from a industrial facility...we heard it twice and never during the night.

I havent stayed here but live in Edmonton. You won't be bothered here at all and it's a great place to park for a night. If the wind blows from the east you may smell the water treatment plant but it's not a big deal.

Report Check-In

Parking lot for the trail head, next to the river and away from the public
