Estes Park Visitor Center Parking Garage | Informal Campsite

We were watching the elk around 10:40pm last night, about to get in bed for the night when a cop car rolled around and shone a light on our vehicle. I talked to the officer and he said he was just making sure no one was camping overnight here. We left afterwards for a different spot, it seems like they do not allow overnight camping here.

No overnight parking signs posted. No camping or overnight parking here!! I received a courtesy notice, but typically you will receive a parking violation. The officer was very kind and suggested parking anywhere off a national forest road or outside of the Estes Park city limits. All of Estes Parks has a no overnight camping ordinance.

nice garage, quiet but the lights are bright. the visitors center across the bridge has bathrooms and water fountains 24/7

free wifi, we parked with 25 feet motorhome during de day and use the restroom and wifi. No overnight parking for more above 7feet height.

Decent sized parking garage open 24 hours. I saw a few other cars there overnight and nobody had any issues. Height limit of 7ft. Lights on throughout the night. Some road noise depending on where you park.
