Something not right?

Description

A small pulloff on a side road on the way up to the mirador. Nothing fancy but it was already getting dark and we didn't want to pay to camp or sleep in town on a Friday night. Free, no facilities.

Latest Check-Ins

the road is only closed from the direction of the village. it is easily accessible from the direction of the mountains.

I'm not surprised there's been no update since 2019, I found this road to be impassable now. Nature is reclaiming it and the river has washed parts of it away on both sides of this spot. Rocks and deep sand. See pictures. I've ridden down better riverbeds. If you still made it here then it's still close to the busy new road. Better spots further along easily accessible from the other end.
From the East, the road is good but you can only get as far as the marker named "Old Road." I found a good place there to pitch my tent between some bushes for wind shelter and well away from the busy new road. The good thing is, you'll get no passing traffic. In which case, you could park anywhere along the old road.

Report Check-In

Spent a quiet undisturbed night here, there's a few places where you can pull off the road for some extra privacy (we hid ourselves behind some big lovely bushes) but no one came down it anyway! Road can get a bit rough but fine if you take it easy - recommended if you need a one night stop!
