Description
This place is a gem. It's first-come first-serve, be there before 11am as the sites go quickly. $38/primitive and $42 for hookups, cash only. You'll drive around until you find your spot, mark it and pay at the office. The staff is incredibly nice and there are plenty of amenities.
There is also a free, dog-friendly shuttle that takes you into Bar Harbor and Acadia National. Make sure you have an updated schedule.

Spacious, semi-private wooded area back in RV spaces. Grill and fireplace. Lots of dumpsters throughout the property, several bathhouses. Basic, clean bathrooms. Just one dump station, long line at checkout time. Gorgeous walking trail with ocean view and wild blueberries!!!
Report Check-InGreat place, buy 6 nights, get one free. Has a Dog walk trail. Showers .25 for 5 minutes, large clean bath house and a laundry, $1/load. Staff are all very nice and helpful.
Report Check-InTwo adults travelling in a camper. Amazing park! The sites are clean, friendly staff, clean showers, clean drinking water, wifi is a bit shotty but free. There is a pool, laundry an arcade if travelling with your wee one’s. We were lucky to get an electrical spot close to the ocean for $44 American. Down town is a short drive, 15 min in light traffic. Across the road is lobster pound.
Report Check-InOne on top of another RV campground, although not as bad as some. First come first served no reservations accepted. Very clean bathrooms and showers ($.25 per 3 min). $51 per night full hookups (not bad considering ME’s usurious occupancy tax + local taxes).
Report Check-InThis is a great spot! It is as described by others just wanted to add that there is laundry on site with lots of washers & dryers. They also have a dump station, will fill propane and you can fill with water even if you’re at a no hookup site. This made it easy to get all our “chores” done in one day/night. Check out is 12 noon. Folks here are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
Report Check-Innice campsite, trash and returnables bins. bathrooms are portta potties (pretty clean, though there is always pee on the seat of the nearest one to me) and shower houses, where supposedly wifi works. tent site are flat and come with picnic table and fire pit. plenty of hammock trees
Report Check-Inwonderful people, TV room with Wifi. Supported small Zoom call for almost an hour. I was told wifi works at bath houses. Showers are .25 for 5 min, haven't used. All tent sites look pretty flat and come with fireplace and picnic table. Plenty of hammock trees!

Report Check-InDefinitely not closed (maybe it’s seasonal?)!! This is a fairly large campground, all sites are first come, first served. There’s a free (and pet friendly!!) shuttle bus that stops directly in the CG and takes you into Bar Harbor Village and the NP. Cash only still, ATM on site. $38 for no hookups which seems to be fairly cheap for the private CGs in the area. Flush toilets (so clean!!) and coin op showers (5 min/quarter). Lots of shaded spots, some unshaded the closer you get to the pool/water views. They also sell firewood ($6) and cubes or block ice ($3). I only stayed one night (a Thursday and plenty of spots were available when I arrived at 3pm or so) but it was perfect for my pup and I, and I found everyone to be very friendly.
