Description
iOverlander cannot verify if wild camping is permitted at this location. It is your responsibility to verify local laws or obtain consent before staying the night.
A short drive down a pothole-filled National Forest logging road will bring you to a medium sized pull-off with a fire pit.
4-5 vans can pull in straight. Maybe 1-2 RVs. Nothing over 30ft will be able to be turned around at all. I would strong recommend against bringing a trailer. This campsite is the only turn around.
The road ahead is gated and the spur toward the creek is very overgrown muddy 2-track.
LOTS of evidence of target shooting. Garbage, glass, toilet paper, shells, clay pigeons, etc.
Quiet, Good cell signal. Lots of banana slugs! Not too much sun, but visible sky overhead.
PLEASE HELP CLEAN UP THIS SITE -- Please don't shoot here and leave garbage. PACK EVERYTHING OUT.

Stayed one night. Not bad but not great. Picked up a shopping bag full of shotgun shells and tons of melted trash from a fire ring. This place did the job in a pinch. Had some cell service.
Report Check-InCamped one night in a tent. Decent location not far from highway but very quiet. Some trash as originally described, did my part to clean up. Road does have quite a few pot holes last 200 ft before campsite, not a problem in my Subaru but may be difficult for a smaller car. Road has gated dead end a few hundred feet up from campsite. One truck randomly drove by at 4am but otherwise quite. Also had 3 bars ATT LTE.
