stayed here no problem, loads of other vans there too. plenty of parking along the road by the beach. no signs where we stayed.

Great spot right at the beach. Arrived late, a few other RVs and car campers already there. No signs forbidding overnight parking/camping.

Don’t know why it says closed. Tons of vanlifers stay here every night and I’ve personally never been told to move *knock on wood*. There’s no signs saying no overnight parking.

Came here for the night last night around 9pm without any issues. Great place right off the ocean! Bathrooms lock at 9pm and reopen in the morning.

Lovely place, stayed here for a couple of nights. A few others vans here each night. No ‘no overnight parking’ signs. Right next to the beach, bin and toilet.

stationnement d'un parc sur la plage pour environ une dizaine de voitures. une personne vivant ici depuis 18 ans nous l'a recommandé pour passer la nuit. aucun signe de (nos overnight parking) nous y avons passé une nuit la rue devient tranquille une fois la nuit tombée. nous n'avons eu aucun problème à stationner notre véhicule de 33pieds. il y a une poubelle et une toilette.

parking lot on the beach for about ten cars. someone who has lived here for 18 years recommended it to us for an overnight stay. no sign of (our overnight parking) we spent one night the street becomes quiet after dark. we had no problem parking our 33ft vehicle. there is a trash can and a toilet.

Nice spot, great for walking the dog. Hwy traffic didn't bother me and was otherwise peaceful.

Good place to stay overnight, had no issues. We were the only ones parked overnight, and a couple people on the beach in the morning. Beautiful area and great view.

We parked there for a night. We weren't the only ones. Very quiet night.

In the morning a local came and told us it was prohibited to camp or stay overnight in Qualicum Beach and that we had the chance that a guy didn't came in the morning has he usely does. We think it was just intimidation, but we finished breakfast and left

Really good spot ! few other people there, picnic tables available and pit toilets pretty clean. spent two separate nights here with no issue some people stay longer.

Nice parking lot with a view on the océan. There is enough place for about 10 RVs. There were 2 others vans and 2 cars staying for the night.
No water but a chemical toilet. Multiple camping tables.
A bit noisy but it works well for a night after the ferry.

Still open. There were a couple vans and car campers there also. A really lovely spot looking out onto the coast and great place for walking the dog too!

Still open! Great spot for the pup to run! Had four or so other vans sleeping as well. All in all a good nights rest.

Really nice spot. Beautiful view. There were 5-6 other vans/cars/RVs. We stopped there for a night, on the road between Nanaimo and Tofino.

Nice quiet spot after dark. Lots of vehicles spending the night. Great sunset and wildlife views. Marginal Verizon signal. Starlink great.

Beautiful spot directly next to the ocean. Street is quiet in the night and the next washrooms and warm showers are around 2km away at the beach.

Great spot, next to the ocean. Nice to hear the waves. There were about six of here last night. Quiet, except for a little traffic noise and the waves!

Stayed one night, a couple of other vans there too. Beautiful sunset and got quiet at night. Nobody bothered us. The road noise picked up around 7am, just an fyi for the light sleepers among you.

Great view!! Walked 1 hour with the dogs on the beach and stayed overnight!

I didn’t see any bathrooms though like it says.

Will definitely come back!

Great views ! Stayed 2 nights with no problems. Road noise during day but quiet at night.
Gazebo with local info and garbage can.

Bel endroit où dormir gratuitement sur le bord de la mer. Plusieurs vans y étaient, mais c’était tranquille.

Perfect spot as described, little parking lot right on the beach, I slept there 2 nights and each time we were 4 to 6 vans or RVs!
And there are Toilets and free hot shower a few minutes away (see other spot on map)!

Perfect spot with a nice view of the ocean.
The parking lot is almost flat, can fit at least 10 RVs (not suited for big rigs though).
Not so much noise from the road.

Stayed here Aug 24 2021. Looked carefully, no signs saying overnight camping was not allowed. Beautiful sunset and moon at night, nice and quiet during the night. Public bathroom and showers 2 mins drive south at qualicum Beach from 7am? to 9pm

Wake up right on the beach! :) Around 5 other vans were parked here too. We had no issues and traffic was relatively low.
