OK most of the way. But near el alto (close to the soat check in) in was horrible. Took us 1 hour for 10km because we had to drive into the little streets, main road totally blocked.

Still works happening. A few small detours necessary - nothing painstakingly long but some parts the surface is a bit rough.

They are widening the highway to 4 lanes for a good portion of the way from Copacabana to La Paz, would guess that it will take many months, even a year. Not too many diversions when we drove it, just areas where we had to show down. Made the drive 45min-1 hour longer than we expected.

A lot of works and diversions in many parts of the Ruta 2 in the way from Copacabana - La Paz.
I recommend to go from/to Desaguadero, should be a better option than this.
