Small rest stop with washrooms (closed due to Covid). No signs for 'no camping'. Picnic tables, no other amenities since washrooms are closed. Good for a night, right beside the highway. We parked behind the building on the hill to be away from highway noise.

The rest area is closed but there is a building behind the closed rest area (volunteer fire station - I think) but there are working outside plugs so we were able to get plugged in which was great. The spot is far enough away from the highway it was nice and quiet.
Report Check-InSite is closed but in a pinch could stop ads it's gently off the highway with some privacy. Needs someone to pick and clear garbage
Report Check-Inabsolutely beautiful spot, but people have NO RESPECT FOR MOTHER EARTH. leaving garbage and toilet 🚻 paper all over, yet garbage 🗑 bins are provided. it's a privilege to stay free at a place. c'mon. the service center is closed, as are the bathroom. There are garbage bins and clean up after yourselves. gosh!.
otherwise we parked behind the fire hall or more so to the right side. noise is there, yes , but not bad. it rained since we arrived, and to be honest, after 3 weeks ago heart surgery, it was beautiful out here. nature is great, but remember, fire trucks could potentially cone out of the forage we saw fresh today's wet fire truck equipment leaving the building. stay out of the fire fighter trucks way so they can go fast. we are firefighters and know how important safety and clearance is. we had at first parked right behind the information center but the noise and was just too overwhelming for me. our dogs unfortunately after finding human poop and toilet paper all over the site had to be leached. big rig friendly and minimal noise. stay out of the firefighters' way. otherwise the weather was raining and safe though. loved our night stay.
Report Check-InFire station was empty. There was slushy snow around so not much room to park but during nicer weather it would be good. Noisy highway
Report Check-InSpent the night and had fire trucks leaving the location on the hill. If you decide to spend the night please ensure you are parked well out of the way for the trucks.
The lower road is blocked off for entry and exit and the toilets are not usable and locked up
Report Check-InThe washrooms and one side of the rest area are closed, but the road on the back side is open. Garbage strewn around. Fine for a night.
Report Check-InNice place to spend the night. Off to the side of the highway about 50 - 75 meters. Picnic tables and garbage cans. There is a restroom, but can’t confirm if they are open as we had our own toilet. It is actually a fairly quite place, with a little bit of traffic noise, but not too bad inside our trailer(didn’t keep me awake at all). I really like that it is very dark here with no lights on the parking area. Overall nice area.
As previous person said there are many garbage cans here but people are still dropping their garbage anywhere. I don’t understand when people litter.
Just a final note, that this place has a larger Emergency services garage further back which people also park behind.
Report Check-InAwesome little overnight spot. No signs saying you can’t. Lots of trash around in spite of garbage cans. We grabbed plastic gloves and tidied it all up.
