Description

Site #6 off Buffalo Valley Rd. Incredible view and off main road for more privacy. Road in is easy. A couple ranch homes are visible in the distance. Sites 5-8 are in this area. Smaller sites are perfect for vans, maybe a small RV or skoolie. 'Million dollar' views for free!

Beautiful. The best of these sites here. Free, quite safe. In the morning we woke up to elk grazing on the grass near by. 20/10

Report Check-In

We camped in Designated Site #6: Small site large enough for two camper vans. Excellent views of the valley floor. No trees for shade. Very quiet.

Designated Site #5: Same size and close to #6, but lots of trees/shade.

Designated Site #7: Located on the valley floor next to the river. Great for fishing access. Road was very muddy with big potholes.

Designated Site # 8: The road was blocked off probably due to mud. Also on the Valley floor.

Report Check-In

It is a nice calm place with overlook. We spend here 2 nights vor free.

Report Check-In

Gorgeous view of the valley. Tetons are partially visible as well. We came in off Buffalo Valley Rd without issue. the Gravel road coming in isn't marked; however, we were cautious and didn't miss the turn. Solid road for our 30ft skoolie. I would not try this spot with anything longer. Spot is reasonably level and with a spectacular free view.

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot overlooking the valley and easy enough to get to. It was very windy when we arrived, but calmed down later. There’s a stone fire ring and the sign says you can camp for five days. But this is definitely bear country. There was day-old bear scat right in the middle of the site so please remember to practice bear safety!
