Update: there are now 3 camping options. The 3 space overflow with no bathrooms by the marina. The one by the river with bathrooms and sometimes firewood on the edge of town. And if you drive further past that over the bridge following the river, they are building a new camping area with walking trails. Should be running by the time the next person reads this.

There are two camping options in town, one here and one across the bridge at the marina. So both ppl below are correct. One by the marina is 3 spots, no bathrooms.
Everyone is super nice.

Not busy, lots of space. Outhouses (make sure you bring TP and sanitizer), picnic tables, fire pits. Signs say $20/night but online info and Facebook group says $30. I phoned ahead to reserve but was told there was lots of space and just to come by, the attendant would be notified which day I would be arriving. Got there Saturday night so the gov bldng you’re instructed to register/pay at was closed. Friendly locals said to pick a spot, have fun, clean up after myself, and an attendant should be around in the morning to settle up. Haven’t seen anyone yet except a friendly dog though.

As others have mentioned, the campground is before the bridge. You can’t miss it, there are standard campground signs in town directing you to it. If you go over that bridge there is a picnic area with a big communal fire ring a small beach area, and a short walking path that goes along the river. Saw fish jumping and eagles.

Town is lovely, locals are super welcoming. Great seafood. Super strong Rogers cell signal. Best of all - no mosquitoes!

Arrived here at 6:30 in the evening. Every spot was taken, I parked on the large gravel parking space.

The other review is wrong, you don't have to cross any bridge. The 15t bridge leads to the marina.
