Absolutely brilliant! Fantastic facilities, lovely people, wonderful wildlife...
Those people who complained about lack of internet have truly missed out.
Report Check-InVery nice place and the owner is a lovely man. You do have everything you need, as we are wild campers, we think a (cold) shower and clean toilets and a outdoor kitchen is very luxurious, not having Wifi is not a problem for us when we travel
Report Check-InIt has been raining so the camping area was very very wet. The price is 5000 colon per person. I consider it very high as there is no electricity and no wifi. Shower and toilet are very basic. We left and drove to Camping Fortuna.
Report Check-InEasy to find, warm welcome. Unfortunately no WiFi and the trees make it impossible to have a stable Starlink connection. Quiet at night, only in the morning you can hear the howler monkeys.
Saw one sleeping sloth is one of the tall trees near the toilets.
Report Check-InNice spot, no WiFi, no power at site, cold showers.
Report Check-InLovely place right at the river, with a great swing and perfect for a swim. Kids loved the garden and river.Stayed for 3 nights, of which we were the only guests for 2 nights. Owner very helpful and friendly, showed his garden and gave is fruits. Highly recommended!
Report Check-InNice place right at the river.. There are Howler Monkeys and we saw two Sloths.. Francisco is a nice guy and we really enjoy our stay there
Report Check-InLovely spot! Francisco was súper nice. Breakfast was pricey but the internet was solid and the wildlife was great. LOVED the rope swing!
Report Check-InFantastic place to camp - surrounded by wildlife (monkeys, toucans, other colourful birds) and a lovely river for swimming while the monkeys play overhead. Good price (5000pppn), great service from Francesco, fast WiFi, comfy hammocks! I came for 1 night and ended up staying 3 - time flies while you're relaxing in nature here. Good shops & Sodas nearby too.
Report Check-InVert Nice place Francisco is vert welcome we paid 5k / pers . There is shower and wc
Report Check-InGreat camp spot next to the river. Water, WIFI available. Nice spot for swimming. Lots of birds. Owner, Francisco and his wife were terrific. Cost was 10k. They also have in door lodging if you want a room. Shower and toilets for campers were great. They even gave us coffee and cheese before we left, I plan on revisiting next year.
Report Check-Inreally a wonderful, quiet family place. Dinner is to die for, cooked on wood with homemade juice and, if you're lucky, homemade tequila. The owners are very welcoming. definitely recommended!
Report Check-InThis place is awesome and so beautiful. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and the camping area is next to the river. We asked if we can do our laundry and they agreed, we paid 5000 pesos for a big load washing machine and a dryer. There’s wifi but it doesn’t reach all the way to the campsite but you can also relax at the small hotel area. We even saw a sloth in the trees and many birds. Paid 10.000 pesos for one night. :) definitely one of our favourites places during our trip!
Report Check-InAs described, paid 5000 pppn. Lots of birds in the area such as tucans, aracaris etc. Two sloths in the tree next to our campervan.
Report Check-InBeautiful place! Right by the river, we could park in the garden. Dedicated showers and toilets for campers. They were so friendly and we could taste lots of fruit from their garden. Many birds here and we found different frogs and an armadillo in the garden at night! We paid 10000 for two.
Report Check-InArrived there with little notice but they made us feel very welcomed immediately. Beautiful camping spot right by the river with beautiful trees with very clean facilities (toilet, shower). Donna Maurin made us a home cooked dinner and breakfast. Felt part of the family for one night. :)
Report Check-InDona Maurin is a wonderful host, welcoming and sweet. Facilities are simple but the river side location is beautiful with lots of trees and area to spread out. The photo is of Dona Maurin s beautiful outdoor kitchen of her home next door (where you go to pay/ check in) She is very welcoming and sweet
Report Check-InSuper friendly family has rooms and camping space. Nice roofed kitchen area with seating. We camw late and they prepared diner for us which was delicious. Sloth in the garden and swimming in the river possible! Recommended!
