As you are traveling south bound on A just south of a small village “Lakone” a narrow road on your right will lead and end at a abandoned quarry. Not advisable to try to go into quarry. Just before the hill leading into the quarry, there is a bush track on the right which is relatively level and stable. Entrance road and track suitable for two and four wheel drive vehicles. You will hear vehicles on the A3 but will not be seen. Had no visitors of two or four legged variety. Good for overnight.
