Nice campground with pretty private sites, think 30 sites total, very friendly staff. Close to Viking settlement etc. so ideal for that. Facilities are decent & laundry is far cheaper than anywhere else we stopped on the west coast of NL to re-group. Stayed in unserviced site, so happy to have trees for privacy but that did not compromise our solar panels. Lake is nice and decent for open water swimming if the weather cooperates.

We were looking for a place to stay that would be close to L’Anse Aux Meadows with services after a week of boondocking. We’re self-contained in our 25 feet/8 meter motorhome. We don’t use the facilities other than an occasional shower. This is a pretty, small campground with 30 sites in 1 loop. Most are flat or need some leveling with parking on grassy gravel. The sites are close together, yet most are generously sized and surrounded by trees providing a sense of privacy. The comfort station was clean, the showers had ample hot water and pressure. There’s a small laundry that we didn’t use. We didn’t not have usable ATT/Bell or Verizon/Telus cell signals. There's wifi at the comfort station which we did not use. There’s a dump station and potable water near the comfort station.
