Beautiful site among wild flowers, mountains in the distance. Loads of trails close by (a couple minutes driving) though I think I can catch a trail at the bottom of the hill where im parked. 1 bar verizon. Fire Pit. Good size site. Will camp here again! There are many free sites in the area. Your national park pass is honored in this forest so you don't need to buy a pass. Although the road is near its not busy so is rather quiet and peaceful.

Decent sized pullout with a fire ring. Good for 3-4 units if need be, easily accessible by paved roads. We had the place to ourselves.
Report Check-InAs described - busy on weekends, pretty empty during middle of the week!
Report Check-InWe stayed in the very first spot on the left after the big trailhead parking lot. Right across from the developed campground. The people staying there were very loud all night. But to be fair it’s a holiday weekend. The road is busy all night but it’s a beautiful drive and all the way paved. We drove a couple miles down the road and only saw a handful of dispersed sites. Definitely not much for anything bigger than a van.
Report Check-InNice spot. Rolled up in my van to find a single tent. There's a fire pit in the center of the opening.
