Description

Trailhead to Steelhead Falls. Parking areas down the road past the parking lot. No signs explicitly mentioning camping, but there are multiple pull out areas where you can park overnight that appear to be built as camping spots, although the only amenity is a pit toilet in the parking lot. Camped here for two nights with no problems. Very quiet and peaceful. It's a half mile hike to the beautiful falls, with pools you can swim in next to it. Low service (Verizon), but enough to load webpages/social media. T-Mobile 1-2 bars

BEAUTIFUL! One of our favorite spots. It was a gravel road getting down, but it was easy. We saw quite a few low clearance vehicles coming and going. The camps are relatively close together but not so close that you feel you’re on top of each other. Only major downside is that it gets super busy on the weekends.

Amazing location just past the trailhead parking. Most have fire pits, some are set farther back. Great little hike to the river.

We are arrived late at night, so we couldn‘t really see a lot except a wonderful night sky. We had a dump toilet close to us. No persons were around and very silent. Just an animal was probably curious what our car was. We recommend.

After getting to the fall parking lot keep left of bathrooms for a few spots. First come first serve. Stay on night in my car with a couple at the first spot.
