It is iffy if this is truly an accepted dispersed camping site. we did stay one night. there are signs on BOTH lots that say "Day Use Parking". It doesn't specifically say no overnight camping and we were getting desperate. Turns out though, that we later saw a paid BLM camp site just a half-mile further while out walking. camp here at your own risk. you will be visible from the road and camping is probably not allowed.

note: there are two dirt pull offs just past this point, between the boat ramp and the campground. those look like the approved dispersed camping spots.

Was an awesome spot. Still down by the river is 10 min loading and unloading. No parking. Bummer!

A nice gravel parking lot with a drive down to the river. When you pull in you’ll see a day parking lot and then a lot with no signs. Park in the one with no signs. Don’t block the road going down to the river either.

One bar of t-mobile service. There is highway noise but it’s not terrible.

Cool spot, just a little busy with other people. We parked right by the river, flat enough to not need blocks, but not perfect. Great cell service att and Verizon. Water is warm. Some mosquitos. Rocky "beach". Road noise not to bad when you're all closed up for the night.

Great spot on the river as mentioned before. No signs for no overnight parking. Got yelled at by a couple of fisherman because this is a boat ramp as well but no one else has bothered us.

Report Check-In

This is a great spot for a quick overnight. We got in late and didn't want to disturb anyone who might be camping by the river so we parked in the upper lot. There is some highway noise but not bad and it is fairly level.

amazing spot, right down on the river there's a clearing for a van or maybe 2. i was able to get level. nice and peaceful.

6 spots, just off I70. Most spots are not level. We got here at 4:30 pm on a Wednesday & got the last spot (#4). 25’ Class C, plenty of room for RV; however, about 10” lower on the front than the back. Very nice location, river & Mountain View’s. A couple (#6 & 3) looked level. You do get I70 noise, didn’t bother us. $10 night.

Wonderful fishing and camping spot! Good cell service but some freeway noise. View to the south is awesome!

open again. 2 flat areas, one real close to the river, van-sized. some highway noise. recent fire. there's a lot of broken glass around thanks to those types of folks who like to break glass for fun.

Report Check-In

Sadly, there is a fire closure here right now and also at the campground. The Horse Pasture spot was open but I found it both small and noisy on a Monday afternoon.
