Cheveron Dirt Truck Lot | Informal Campsite

Decent spot for a night. We parked at the back of the lot to give the semis space. Ended up with one parked right next to us at midnight who proceeded to idle off and on until they left at 4am, so not the best night of sleep but certainly not the worst. There is a mercantile attached to the gas station that has a ton of groceries if you need something and a bathroom inside. Also a large unlocked dumpster next to the electric vehicle charging station if you have trash.

Would stay again if needed, but maybe park on the outskirts of the lot so there is less chance of a semi coming right up on you.

There’s ample parking here and mostly trucks! We parked behind the store. If you’re able to get here earlier, you might be able to see other spaces further away from the trucks. We still fell asleep since we were all very tired! There’s something behind the store that is on most of the night ( fridge or AC?) and that was quite loud also.

A couple of big trucks drove by our van, kicked up a lot of dust, so we kept our windows closed on that side of our van most of the night! We left around 5:30am. No other cars or vans were here. Just trucks and us!

Stayed one night. Safe and semi quiet. There’s truckers and cars pulling in to the gas station. Some of the trucks left their engine running all night. But it wasn’t a terribly loud noise. It’s just a big gravel/dirt parking lot for anyone looking for a place to sleep for the night. There was 2 other truck campers here with me. There’s also 2 EV charging ports here. strong internet. 5bars LTE Verizon. 5bars 3G Roaming TMobile.

Very large, level dirt lot at Cheveron for semis. Plenty of room when I was there overnight.
