Report Check-In

road to park had corn field planted over it. other road to park was thru private property and had no trespassing signs all over the place. don't think this park exists anymore.

Report Check-In

We have the place all to ourselves on a Wednesday night. The reservation call to the Sheriff dispatch was quick and efficient. Some half burnt trash in fireplace, but very little trash.

this is THE BEST campsite I've been to yet!!! it's HUGE!!! there's run for everyone to spread out, I'd day the whole park is AT LEAST 1/2 mile long with huge healthy trees, beautiful lake where the fish are JUMPING out!! please keep it clean so it can remain free!!!

Report Check-In

Beautiful campsites. As mentioned below, call local sheriffs office upon arriving to confirm your stay length. Very pleasant and easy. 3 bars ATT, 2 bars Verizon. Nice porta potties and trash cans all over.

Report Check-In

Very peaceful location, the campsites are all on grass, but it appears people just drive on the grass to get to them. We chose to just park at the far end of the park away from the entrance on the gravel. Lots of porta pottys and garbage cans throughout the park. At the end where we parked there is a pit toilet that's decently maintained. You will want to call your stay in though the sheriff came by after park hours, and in the morning but didn't talk to us as we told them we would be here. Also GPS was confused tried to make us turn into a field, just look for the county park signs on the road. Donations are appreciated $10 a night (see photo).

Report Check-In

Little county Park on a small lake. There are about 7-10 established campsites with tables, fire rings and grills. Porta potties that seem to be cleaned fairly regularly.

Free, but they ask that you call the Sheriff's department at 507-237-4330, they ask for your Phone #, License Plate, DL # and length of stay.
